Action Plans are used to lead your operators through the dispatch process. Action plans are organized in a step by step expandable/collapsible tree. Each step can have multiple outcomes that lead down different branches of the tree. Instructions are displayed to the operator during dispatch in Rich-text format.
When a signal enters Stages, it is applied an Event Code during Signal Processing. Stages then looks at the Action Plan Hierarchy to apply an action plan to the event code. Action Plans can be assigned at a Processing Level (Event Codes, Service Type... etc.), a Site Group Level, Agency Level, or Site Level.
Action Plans can either be Global or Site specific. Global Action Plans can be applied to all sites within Stages and are created from the Setup Menu (Setup > Alarm Processing > Action Plans). Site specific Action Plans are created at the site level in Site Data Entry and are only usable by that site. Site group specific Action Plans are created in the Site Groups setup and are only usable by sites in that belong to the site group.
