Alarm History

stages® stores Alarm History on all sites.

In the Alarm Dispatch and Site Data Entry windows, the Alarm History can be accessed.

On the top pane is a listing of all alarms processed for the site. This will show a summary of the alarm including: the alarm number, Priority, Alarm Event Code, the date and time of the alarm, the date and time the alarm was retrieved and locked by an operator, the time between the alarm generation and the retrieval, the time the alarm was cleared, the transmit# of the device, the Action Plan followed, the action plan's variation number if applicable, the initials of the operator who originally locked the account, and the disposition of the alarm if applicable. An Alarm Disposition of Superseded means that the alarm was overridden by a higher priority alarm.

The Alarm Disposition should be entered during dispatch and can be edited using the Set Alarm Disposition Button Image at the beginning of the row. Setting the Alarm Disposition inserts an entry into the Event History.

Double-clicking a row will display the event history associated with the alarm. The event history lists when applicable: the Date/Time of the event/action, the event code or operator action, the operator initials, the signal code, the device point, the point description, the contact name for calls/verification, the area, operator comments, if the action was a full clear, the new priority on partial clears, the delay from a partial clear, and the scheduled date of an expected event. More information is also displayed in the flyout.

The Alarm History can also be accessed for all accounts by date in Alarm Statistics (Utilities > Operator Supervision > Alarm Statistics).
