Sites
Site information is editable in the Site pane. The Site pane contains information that affects dispatch processing and information that will be presented to the operator during dispatch. The site detail is accessed from the Site tab in the Site Data Entry window.
Site Name, ID1, and ID2
Site Name provides a searchable description for the site. The Site will also have an Xmit# tied to the device to identify the site for signal processing. ID 1 and ID 2 are alternate Site Names for searches. ID 2 also appears in parenthesis after the Site Name on the Site Summary. For instance a chain store could have a Site Name of '[Store] #100' and a ID 1 of 'Irvine [Store]'. In Site Lookup, the operator can type in either [Store] #100 or Irvine [store] into the site name parameter.
Region, city, State, and Zip Code
Alarms are filtered into Dispatch Queues and handled by appropriate operators. Sites are entered into Dispatch Queues based on Region, City, State and Zip Codes.
Site Type and Dispatch Type
Site Type and Dispatch Type are used for assigning Action Plans. Dispatch Types are a means to add more distinction to site types. Sites can be assigned to multiple Dispatch Types in the Dispatch Type tab. The Dispatch Type overrides Site Type in the Hierarchy when assigning action plans to Service Type, Event Code, and Agencies. Site Types and Dispatch Types are also used in Dispatch Queue Rules to assign alarms to operators.
Runaway Threshold
Runaway Thresholds can log an Event Code when its Count (number of signals) is reached in an hour period. Runaway Thresholds can also be set on the Site Group level. The Site value overrides the Site Group value.
Language
Sites can be placed in queues by Language.
Report Group
Report Group is used as a filter for generating Reports.
UL Code
UL Code is used for UL certificated accounts.
Restricted Access
The Site can be set to only be viewed and accessed by approved users according the a Restricted Access code.
General Info
The Info field contains free form text and includes a Rich-text editor. Variables can be used in the Info field to bring in User Defined Field values from the Site and Site Group.
Temporary info is assigned with Site Notes.
Site Groups
Site Groups are added in the Site Group pane. Site groups can be entered by their number or searched with the lookup.
Site group default Devices (including Device Configuration) will be applied to sites that belong to them. Action Plans can be assigned by Site Group in general and on the default device configuration.
The site group Contacts will be put into the dispatch call list and report distribution and dispatch email lookups.
Site Groups can be used to filter Alarms into Dispatch Queues. Site Groups are used to partition the application by user in the User Partitions window. (Utilities > Operator Supervision > User Partitions)
Site Phones
Site phones are entered on the Phones pane. Enter at least one phone to use as the premise phone in dispatch. Fax lines can be entered for notifications. Faxes with the Auto Notify flag checked will receive faxes for an event tied to an Auto Process. Phones can be applied a Day/Time for when they are in effect by pressing the Day Time button .
Phones entered on the Site level will be listed as Premise phones for action plans and the dispatch call list.
Additional Information
The Additional Information pane displays information specific to your central station.
Site Agencies
Agencies are entered in the Site Agencies pane. Agencies entered here will be entered on the dispatch call list and used in structured dispatch. If the Agency requires a permit, select the agency on the row and the Permits pane will populate for that agency to add or edit permits.
Site Rules
Site Rules can be turned on to effect dispatch on the Site. Site Rules can also be turned on by Site Groups.
